Kas yra VIN numeris? Kaip patikrinti VIN numerį?

VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)yra automobilio gamintojo priskirtas numeris kaip unikalus automobilio / modelio identifikatorius. Skaičiai priskiriami pagal ISO 3779 - 1983 standartą, kuris leidžia visuotinai identifikuoti visame pasaulyje.

Skaičius susideda iš 3 dalių:

WMI - international identifier of the automaker - Jis pagrįstas 3 skaičiais / raidėmis.

VDS - description of the model - Jis pagrįstas 6 simboliais ir pateikia modelio aprašymą gamintojo pasirinktoje sekoje.

VIS - unique auto identifier - Tai yra paskutiniai 8 ženklai (pastarieji 4 paprastai yra skaičiai) ir beveik visada yra gamybos metai ir gamybos įmonė.

VIN sudaro raidiniai ir skaitiniai simboliai, o paskutiniai keturi beveik visada yra skaičiai. Jie galėjo padaryti bet kurį derinį, sudarytą iš didžiųjų raidžių ir skaitmenų: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 A B C D E F G H K L M N P R S T U V W X Y Z.

Automobiliai dažnai atskiria VIN, WIM ir VIS elementus su tuščiomis erdvėmis ar kitais ženklinimo žymenimis, tačiau automatinių dokumentų VIN turi būti viena eilutė be tarpų ar pertraukų, ta pati taisyklė yra ir VIN, kurios matomos automobilyje.
